The Gina Powers Band is an Americana, Singer-Songwriter band from Fargo. They perform regularly in the local and regional area. They are currently working on their first full album after releasing a debut EP in April of 2016. They are featured on Prairie Public’s Prairie Musicians which is set to air in July of 2017.
When Gina Powers and James Singer came together and began writing music, they fell in love with the possibility of creating a band that might be a place of creative expression, a way to expose their music to a wider audience, and as a soul quenching pursuit of a long forgotten dream… writing and performing music. The result became The Gina Powers Band. Currently, this working band includes Mitchell Rittenbach who plays a Bass guitar like it’s part of his arms and Eli Davis who can turn a glass of ice into a tasty drum accent. Whether The Gina Powers Band appears as a four-piece, or with guest musicians such as Tony Passanante or Nathan Pitcher on lead guitar, their original music mixed with cover tunes sung by Gina Powers in her rich and powerful vocal style have people tapping their toes and singing along. The Gina Powers Band was named as one of John Lamb’s “Best Bets” in the Fargo Forum and has been featured in URL Lifestyle Magazine.
“We are humbled and deeply appreciative for not only the many gifted and talented local musicians who make our community an inspiring place to live and create, but by the welcome, mentoring and opportunities that have risen out of the music community. We wouldn’t be enjoying this magical time without your love and support.”
Red Monk & Wolf Girl:
“We are a duo of acoustic music from Moorhead MN featuring familiar cover songs as well as originals performed on a variety of instruments.”
